We Rise Center is a Jordanian non-governmental and non-profit civil society organization, was established in 2018, by efforts of civil society activist youth group. The center aims to anchoring active citizenship values that based on principles of democracy, human rights, enhance social cohesion, accountability and participation in the decision making process in Jordan to reach Better development outputs. In addition to reinforcement the roll of society through anchoring the concept and practices of social gender to become a part of Community culture in Jordan.
The center believes that his projects must include the governorates as well as is the capital of Jordan “Amman” so, the center works implementation many of project and activities in Less fortunate regions in Jordan with focus on all genders participate in this activity. in addition to creates Create a local network specialized in "empowering women”, Economically and politically through entrepreneurship.
This local network consists of 550 girls from different region which are from countryside outlying areas, Badia (desert) areas and Palestinian refugee camps, to achieve the sustainable development goals.
Believing in the importance of digital media and social media platforms and its role in making an impact on public opinion, the media center was created in 2019 with the aim of enabling young people to form influential media content, manage effective electronic campaigns and reach the whole world with media content rich in text, live and direct image, and the center also works in partnership With various sectors in Jordan and the Arab region to create better opportunities for societal groups and enhance their contribution to policy and decision making.
